  19.   Paper Hanger is a simple utility which allows you to change your Windows
  20.   wallpaper with ease and simplicity. It is designed to avoid the Windows     
  21.   Control Panel and the many steps it requires to change your wallpaper.            
  22.   Paper Hanger allows frequent wallpaper changes without going through the 
  23.   hassle of the Control panel's many steps. You can have new Wallpaper with a
  24.   couple of clicks at the bottom of your desktop and you are quickly back to
  25.   important tasks.

  27.   Paper Hanger 2.1 now offers a "preview window" so you may browse through
  28.   your bitmap collection and select WallPaper more easily! Also included
  29.   in version 2.1 are Tile/Center radio buttons in the file picker dialog!
  30.   This allows you to switch from large bitmap (which is used Centered) to 
  31.   a smaller bitmap (which is used Tiled) in one easy step!

  33.   Paper Hanger should be loaded in the start-up group of the Program 
  34.   Manager so it will be easily available when running Windows. Paper 
  35.   Hanger exists as an icon at the bottom of your Windows desktop. A 
  36.   double click on the icon gives you a Windows File Open dialog from 
  37.   which you may browse through and select wallpaper from ANY directory. 
  38.   A single click on the Paper Hanger icon presents you with Paper Hanger's
  39.   menu where you can elect to Tile or Center the currently selected 
  40.   wallpaper. Also, there is a 'None' option which turns off 
  41.   wallpaper.

  68.   Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software
  69.   before buying it. If you try a Shareware program and continue
  70.   using it, you are expected to register. Individual programs
  71.   differ on details -- some request registration while others
  72.   require it, some specify a maximum trial period. With
  73.   registration, you get anything from the simple right to continue
  74.   using the software to an updated program with printed manual.

  76.   Copyright laws apply to both Shareware and commercial software,
  77.   and the copyright holder retains all rights, with a few specific
  78.   exceptions as stated below. Shareware authors are accomplished
  79.   programmers, just like commercial authors, and the programs are
  80.   of comparable quality. (In both cases, there are good programs
  81.   and bad ones!) The main difference is in the method of
  82.   distribution. The author specifically grants the right to copy
  83.   and distribute the software, either to all and sundry or to a
  84.   specific group. For example, some authors require written
  85.   permission before a commercial disk vendor may copy their
  86.   Shareware.

  89.   should find software that suits your needs and pocketbook,
  90.   whether it's commercial or Shareware. The Shareware system makes
  91.   fitting your needs easier, because you can try before you buy.

  93.   has the ultimate money-back guarantee -- if you don't use the
  94.   product, you don't pay for it.

  105.   Paper Hanger is a "shareware program" and is provided at no charge
  106.   to the user for evaluation.  Feel free to share it with your
  107.   friends, but please do not give it away altered or as part of
  108.   another system.  The essence of "user-supported" software is to
  109.   provide personal computer users with quality software without
  110.   high prices, and yet to provide incentive for programmers to
  111.   continue to develop new products.  If you find this program
  112.   useful and find that you are using Paper Hanger and continue to use
  113.   Paper Hanger after a reasonable trial period, you must make a reg-
  114.   istration payment of ONLY $10.00 to Jordan Bigel.  The $10.00
  115.   registration fee will license one copy for use on any one
  116.   computer at any one time.  You must treat this software just like
  117.   a book.  An example is that this software may be used by any
  118.   number of people and may be freely moved from one computer
  119.   location to another, so long as there is no possibility of it
  120.   being used at one location while it's being used at another.

  122.   same time.

  125.   copies of Paper Hanger within 30 days of first use or their license
  126.   is withdrawn.  Site-License arrangements may be made by con-

  129.   Anyone distributing Paper Hanger for any kind of remuneration must
  130.   first contact Jordan Bigel at the address below for authorization.
  131.   This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors
  132.   recognized by the (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines for
  133.   shareware distributors, and such distributors may begin offering
  134.   Paper Hanger immediately (However Jordan Bigel must still be advised so
  135.   that the distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest
  136.   version of Paper Hanger.).
